The network is proactively monitored from our 24/7 National Operations Centre in Portsmouth, with a mirrored Disaster Recovery NOC in Perth, Scotland.
With over 122 Points of Presence (PoPs) across the UK we are capable of providing you with standardised and proven bandwidth products for both data and voice.
Optical Services
SSE Telecoms has been a market leader in development of optical services for some time. We were amongst the first service providers to trial and launch services at 40 Gig and are now able to offer services to 100 Gig.

SDH Leased Lines

Our leased line service is based around a high capacity, fully resilient core, designed to give the highest availability, best quality service, at a cost effective price.
We understand that transmission quality is essential for your business. By using our SDH Leased Line services you are assured of clear bandwidth, low jitter and error free transmission.
Our Leased Lines are available in a range of speeds from 2MB (E1) up to 622MB (STM-4) bandwidths. All speeds can be delivered on a local or long distance basis.
Ethernet Services
SSET became the UK’s first and only National Ethernet Service Provider in 2001. With an extensive portfolio of Layer 2 connectivity, our philosophy is to deliver solutions that are driven by your commercial needs rather than our technical infrastructure.
We provide a competitive range of Ethernet solutions in increments of as little as 1Mbps up to 10Gbps - paid for as you use it, when you use it. This flexibility allows you to increase or decrease your bandwidth seamlessly and quickly when required, without the steps, changes or lead times of traditional telecommunications services.
Our circuits are completely dedicated with business class Service Level Agreements (SLA) and 24/7 support.
Unlike broadband services our Ethernet lines do not share infrastructure at the local exchange and therefore are not prone to delays caused by other users connecting to the same exchange.
We have heavily invested into our network and have the necessary skills in place to ensure your business connectivity can operate at peak performance. Our Ethernet product set offers a range of options to tailor your solution to your exact requirements.
